Initial colour theory ideas

The colour given was blue iris, Pantone 18-3943

initial ideas on tasks to test the colour theories:

using fruit that is the type of colour such as blackberries to contrast using different colour fruits
flowers- contrasting with the vivid colour of a blue iris
different colours of the sky- with buildings to contrast- also the different proportions
blue cellophane over the camera lens
blue wkd in coloured see through shot glasses
different shades of denim- photos of the clothes etc
jelly cubes- the Pantone square, translucant

Final idea/ideas after crit:

The denim idea was the strongest :

different shades of the denim
photographing in different lighting
cellophane over denim
throw denim and see what the colour is like
torn strands of denim- lighter tint
patterns taken from different denim
clothes with some denim and when put with other colours more obvious
look at the way denim is dyed
