Final 5 poster ideas

For the 1st poster, the idea was to use collage to represent the auditory experience, by using the speaker icon to represent the sound. The collage was then photographed, to have the design become less flat, adding depth. The text is positioned all around the poster to try and break the conventions of a poster.

For the second idea, the idea was to display the text of the event in a different way, with looking at how using the idea of texting can display the information for the event, whilst still being relevant for the visuals. For the image, the shapes of the messages were cut out of coloured paper and placed on the phone and then photographed. The typeface used was Helvetica Neau, as after research this was the typeface used before Apple created their own, for iPhones. The background seemed too plain just being white, so a photograph of a magazine article was took to represent the messaging which will happen in the symphony, creating the music.
For the third poster, the idea of sound waves was formed. Not wanting to directly be cliche with the traditional shapes of sound waves, I designed 'squiggle' type lines in Illustrator, of which were then overlaid onto the phone of two phones together, which resemble the idea of social Interaction for the symphony.
For the 4th poster, the visual was inspired by different forms of waves, such as network and telephone signals, of which create interesting images that can create an effective pattern. The waves were cut out of coloured paper and photographed, creating texture to the poster, becoming less obvious as auditory yet still linking, and having the visuals that you would associate with technology.
For the 5th poster, the idea of social interaction was the main reasoning for the visual. The two hands holding phones was used to show what the symphony will entail. To add more interest into the design, the Christmas graphic score was used, as it represents auditory and mobile phones as the lines look like waves and vibrations.
