With the decision that binding the publication wouldn't be effective, and that the images would be the primary focus for the publication, another trip to kirkgate market was taken. The photographs were taken with a dslr camera instead of a phone this time in order to achieve the best quality, of which will enhance the publication. The trip was also to experience and engage with the market more, with talking to the sellers, trying the food and buying some of the products, in order to comment on the experience had on the back of the photos, for a more personal touch and celebration of the small business and people of Leeds.
personal/unique - the way that the publication can be altered/changed/experienced varies by the consumer, with the prospects of putting the photos up on the wall or the posters/art, therefore celebrating the idea of having a more personal touch within the signs etc
When speaking to the people on the market, the man in charge of the Yorkshire pudding company asked us wether we'd been to the one in York and how the wrap was compared. He also told us how he's been there for two and a half years and everyone has copied him as he was the original Yorkshire pudding wrap company, of which he started himself. He then told us how he's in talks with trying to get a van as he's seen the rise of popularity for them at festivals.
