poster research

To help develop my designs for the cell phone Symphony brief, I looked at existing graphic design posters of which I liked the design of, to help inspire me to develop a contemporary design. With looking at design Instagram accounts, the styles of which I preferred were the illustrative ones and the minimalist ones, like the one below showing the same concept however having different colours and different information. With looking at poster design, it was also clear to see how to break the conventions of posters as we know, with having text hidden and all around a poster, to which are shown in the examples below. With these examples, I want to try and incorporate elements that I like visually, to try and work into the cell phone symphony concept, such as the silhouette illustrations and the 'squiggly lines', with trying to break the conventions of a poster.
