5 objects were chosen of which have some importance to you, the objects I chose were a toy duck, Swedish flag, moose ornament, perfume and a polaroid camera, When choosing the objects the size and the colour were took into consideration, with all the objects chosen having a colour scheme of yellow, blue and white. When approaching this brief, the main elements of including the object, having 26 situations and using the content to create a publication were dissected to questions such as; what is an object?, is a collage of photographs still a photograph? and what is a publication? Processes were introduced in order to categorise the objects, such as; location, time, category, hierarchy and creating lists in order to find the common word. From these processes to generate a common theme in which to work with, it helped to generate ideas and processes in which to start off the process of the publication. The task was then to use a categorisation, or question from the start in order to use the objects and create a visual. Using an interesting way of displaying the objects, the polaroid camera was used, having the viewfinder to show the rest of the objects.
From the day task, the theme of the publication was formed, with writing down all the words associated with the objects, finding that the common theme between all the objects is that they are all gifts of some sort.
