categorising the uncomfortable images

With the images chosen within the group, they were categorised according to the categories of : 

uncomfortable/easy, ethical/unethical, important/trivial and vulgar/cathartic. With categorising the images, it allowed the discussion of how you order them. The outcomes found from the ordering of the Images to the different categories is :

gore is the most trivial and most uncomfortable 

low resolution photos lack meaning 

if you knew the person it might have more importance 

is it art or by a journalist or from a bystander

is it propaganda

could be desensitise- its the connotations which are massive and the problems related with the people in the images

adding a context changes the importance of the images massively 

vulgar images such as the hand with the holes are vulgar to create a reaction.

With this task it helped to create a question and theme to base the publication from and helped create ideas of how we want to approach it.
