Development of the final publication

The main developments from the intial idea, is the change of stock, with feedback to experiment with using wrapping paper and brown Kraft paper. However, the ink ran on the gloss wrapping paper and the images colour is too dull for the use of the Kraft paper, so therefore a stock of 120gsm was used. The narrative of the publication was changed, with changing the order of the images, from the wrapped objects, to unwrapped, showing the gift giving cycle more effectively. The crumpled paper used during the process has also been used as the pattern is interesting and the image enhances the narrative. The initial images have been developed, by taking away the background in order to enhance the colours in the image. The publication has been bound creating a 'book style' of binding with creating spine using folded cartridge paper that then has the tags stuck to and a cover around, of which creates a thicker finish.
