After peer feedback, the final outcome has been developed from the previous design with experimenting on different stock, such as wrapping paper and Kraft paper, however the ink on the gloss paper ran and the fat paper was too dark for the images. The stock was developed from using 200gsm to 120gsm stock, as it highlights the 'card like' material used when the tags are combined together in the 'book style' of binding. The final publication explores innovative ways of documenting the objects as the photos of the objects have been used to create different designs of wrapping paper which has been used to wrap the original objects, having almost two images of the objects in one. The publication explores narrative within using the wrapping concept, having the objects wrapped to unwrapped, then showing the crumpled paper, showing the cycle of gift giving. The visuals in the publication are interesting with the use of different manipulations used on the same image to create patterns, which keep interest. The narrative has been displayed in a gift tag shape with it being the most practical in binding most professionally and to tie in the theme of gifts by finding a way of challenging the conventional shape and style of publication. The type created for the title has been made out of the wrapping paper used in the process of the images, of which creates an interesting visual and represents the gift giving cycle created throughout the book. The publication has been bound on the side to allow further development of having the hole at the top for the resemblance of a gift tag, however the stock was too thick. The publication was bound by using folded cartridge paper that has been stuck together to form the spine, of which the tags have been stuck to, allowing the more thicker polished finish. This way of binding is different and creates a better result as the publication has a thicker finish.
